¡Ya es Hora! Hágase Contar

La Alianza Hispana joins the “ ¡Ya es Hora! Hágase Contar” an historic non-partisan Latino civic participation campaign launched as the Latino community’s action-oriented follow-up to the immigrant mobilizations of 2006. The campaign represents the largest and most comprehensive effort to incorporate Latinos as full participants in the American political process.

The Census information affects the numbers of seats your state occupies in the U.S. House of Representatives. And people from many walks of life use census data to advocate for causes, rescue disaster victims, prevent diseases, research markets, locate pools of skilled workers and more. During the following months La Alianza Hispana will be participating in and organizing community orientation sessions to raise awareness about the importance of filling in the form and promptly mailing it back.
