What is Happening at La Alianza Hispana

Deloitte Community Care Day

Once again, on behalf of La Alianza Hispana and staff, thank you for the wonderful work performed by Deloitte volunteers on Friday, June 5th “Deloitte Community Care Day”.  The unique group excelled in their performance and quick response. We have received a lot of compliments and gratitude toward your services and coordination



Next Level Baseball League is a youth training and skill development baseball program in Boston, MA that provides kids the opportunity to enhance their physical and mental abilities. NLBL is ran by coaches who have a strong passion and intensive knowledge of the game along with many years of college baseball experience. Next Level Baseball League strives to develop each individual player to their full potential while also bring collegiate style baseball to the Wood Bat Tournament.

La Alianza Hispana (LAH) is a community-based nonprofit serving Boston’s Latino community. Our goal: To empower individuals and families, strengthen communities, and develop leaders through high-quality education and social services, advocacy, and community organizing.   LAH’s Prenatal and Early Childhood Education program consists of two initiatives focused on improving health and education of children ages 0 to 5 by educating young mothers and families via culturally-competent public health (maternal/child) programs. Castle Island Cook Out

Cuidate! Program - Adolescent Health

 

 

The Cuidate! Program at La Alianza Hispana invite you to celebrate the latest accomplishments, and the positively impact in adolescents heath.  Come and join us to our “Castle Island Cook Out”.  

 

 

Thank you for joining us during our ¡Castle Island Cook Out! Please make sure you follow the instructions below:

Please be on time! (Por favor llegue a tiempo)

Make sure you complete all paperwork (permission slip, medical release and waiver) turned in to your project coordinator. (Asegurese de que haya completado todo los documentos requeridos, ej  autorizacion para participar de la actividad, informacion medica )

Follow all La Alianza Hipana Staff safety and logistics instructions.  ( Por favor, siga las instrucciones del personal de la Alianza Hispana).

Keep your water, snacks and contact lists on you at all times. (Mantengase hidratado todo el tiempo.  Guarde con usted todo el tiempo la lista de contactos del personal de La Alianza Hispana)

All youth must be accompanied with a parent or legal guardian (Todo menor o joven que participe en la actividad debera ser acompanado por un padre o encargado legal)

Activity  will run  approximately from 10:00am to 2:00 PM (La actividad  durara aproximadamente hast a las 2:00 pm )

Meeting point (Punto de Encuentro): Castle Island/ South Boston/ Pleasure Bay

Time (Hora): 9:40 am the tour starts at 10:00 am o’clock (El Tour en el Fuerte comienza a las 10:00 en punto)

We will not provide transportation/ No vamos a proveer  tipo de transportacion. There is parking available at the Castle Island Park (Hay estacionamiento disponible en el parque de Castle Island).
